Gold and Silver Prices Surge to Record Highs in Nepal

Gold prices in Nepal continued their strong upward trend, reaching new record levels in the domestic bullion market.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold rose by Rs. 2,600, hitting an all-time high of Rs. 239,200 per tola, up from Rs. 238,000 per tola the previous day. This surpasses the earlier record set on October 8, 2025.

Tejabi gold also saw a notable increase, rising to Rs. 238,500 per tola from Rs. 237,300 per tola a day earlier.

Silver prices followed the upward momentum, gaining Rs. 30 per tola to reach Rs. 3,025 per tola, compared with Rs. 2,955 per tola previously.

The continued rise in precious metal prices reflects sustained demand and investor interest in gold and silver as safe-haven assets in Nepal.
