Global IME Bank Announces 19th AGM and 8% Cash Dividend for FY 2081/82

Global IME Bank Limited (GBIME) has announced that its 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on 26th Kartik, 2082, at the Nepal Academy, Kamaladi, Kathmandu, starting from 10 a.m.

Among the key agendas, the bank will endorse an 8% cash dividend for the fiscal year 2081/82. The 459th meeting of the Board of Directors, held on Ashwin 25, decided to distribute the dividend based on the bank’s paid-up capital of Rs. 38.11 Arba. Accordingly, an 8% cash dividend (including tax) amounting to approximately Rs. 3.04 Arba has been proposed.

Additionally, the AGM will discuss and endorse the auditor’s report, along with the profit and loss statement, financial statements, and cash flow report for FY 2081/82. The meeting will also appoint an auditor for the fiscal year 2082/83 and select an independent director.

The bank has set Kartik 16 as the book closure date. Therefore, shareholders who are recorded in the company’s books by that date will be eligible to receive the dividend and participate in the AGM.

This AGM marks another significant step for Global IME Bank in maintaining consistent shareholder returns and reinforcing its strong financial position in Nepal’s banking sector.
