Garima Bikas Bank Schedules 19th AGM, Proposes 10.53% Dividend

Garima Bikas Bank Limited (GBBL) has announced its 19th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 27th Kartik, 2082, at Hotel Pokhara Grande, Pokhara, Kaski, starting at 11:00 am.

The bank has proposed a total dividend of 10.53%, comprising 6% bonus shares and 4.53% cash dividend (including tax on bonus shares) from accumulated profits. The dividend will be distributed after approval from Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) and endorsement by the AGM. Currently, GBBL’s paid-up capital stands at Rs. 5.68 Arba, which is expected to increase to approximately Rs. 6.02 Arba after issuing the proposed bonus shares.

Key agenda items for the AGM include endorsing the auditor’s report along with PL statements, financial and cash flow reports, appointing an auditor for FY 2082/83, and identifying a suitable development bank for merger and acquisition with GBBL.

The book closure date is set from Kartik 18, allowing shareholders who held shares before this date to be eligible for the dividend and attend the AGM.
