Doodhpokhari Chepe Hydropower Limited has entered into an agreement with Muktinath Capital Limited for the issuance and management of its Initial Public Offering (IPO), appointing Muktinath Capital as the Issue Manager. The signing was conducted by Chairperson Sabin Pradhanang for the hydropower company and CEO Kabindra Dhoj Joshi for Muktinath Capital.
The company is developing an 11 MW project on the historic Chepe River along the Gorkha-Lamjung border. With key approvals, grid connection, and power purchase agreements secured since 2074-75 BS, construction is now 78% complete, aiming for full completion by the end of Chaitra 2082 BS.
To fund the final phase, Doodhpokhari Chepe Hydropower plans to offer 2,020,000 ordinary shares at Rs. 100 each, representing 20% of its issued capital, to the public. The chairman highlighted that the IPO will strengthen investor relations and promote investment in Nepalโs hydropower sector.
