Oyo Assets — the asset acquisition arm of Prism, the parent company of OYO — has raised ₹125 crore in new funding from private and institutional investors, including InCred, according to PTI reports dated 23 November.
Also known as Sunday PropTech, Oyo Assets focuses on acquiring and developing premium and mid-premium properties across India to strengthen Prism’s hospitality portfolio.

The fresh funding round, led by InCred, attracted participation from multiple private and institutional investors. This capital injection is aimed at scaling the company’s property acquisition and development strategy nationwide.
Where the Funds Will Be Utilized
According to reports:
- Oyo Assets will expand its footprint across major leisure and business destinations.
- The company aims to enhance its asset management capabilities.
- The capital will support acquiring high-quality hotels at scale.
InCred’s Chief Investment Officer, Saurabh Jhalaria, highlighted the strong performance of Oyo Assets’ portfolio, noting its:
- Resilience
- Consistent cash flow
- Unit-level profitability
He added that Sunday PropTech’s disciplined strategy and execution capabilities make it a standout in the growing institutional hospitality investment space.
Aggressive Expansion Plans for FY26
Oyo Assets is targeting 12 hotel acquisitions in the current financial year (FY26). Out of these, seven deals are already in advanced negotiation stages.
These hotels, once acquired, will operate under Prism’s diverse range of brands, including:
- Sunday Hotels
- Palette Hotels
- Townhouse
- Selected U.S.-based Prism brands
The fresh funding will also allow Oyo Assets to actively pursue attractively priced hotel opportunities, accelerating its long-term growth strategy.
Ritesh Agarwal’s Vision Behind Prism
In September, OYO’s parent company, Oravel Stays, rebranded itself as Prism ahead of its anticipated IPO. Founder and Chairman Ritesh Agarwal explained that the idea behind Prism is to create a unified corporate structure that brings all the company’s brands together while preserving their individual identity.
Agarwal stated that this transition to Prism ensures:
- A clearer, future-ready corporate architecture
- Better alignment with the company’s expanding global portfolio
- Stronger strategic focus under one umbrella entity
