Analyst Predicts XRP Could Reach $100 Before Bitcoin Hits $1 Million

A crypto analyst has delivered a bold forecast that challenges the ultra-long-term price targets often associated with Bitcoin. In a statement responding to the bullish projections by Michael Saylor and Jack Mallers—who have suggested Bitcoin could reach between $1 million and $20 million per coin—the analyst argued that XRP is set to achieve major milestones far sooner than Bitcoin.

XRP vs. Bitcoin: Shorter Timelines for Gains

The analyst, known on X as 24HRSCRYPTO, highlighted the disparity between Bitcoin’s long-term targets and XRP’s near-term potential. While Bitcoin enthusiasts have been discussing seven-figure valuations implying a market cap near $500 trillion, the analyst focused on XRP, stating:

“You will see XRP at $100 before Bitcoin hits $1 million.”

Currently priced around $2.20, XRP would need to climb roughly 4,445% to reach $100, compared with Bitcoin, which is about 990% away from $1 million. Despite the seemingly larger percentage jump for XRP, the analyst believes adoption dynamics and Ripple’s growing ecosystem position XRP for faster gains in the foreseeable future.

XRP Technicals Suggest Outperformance

Technical analysis of the XRP/BTC pair further supports the view that XRP could outperform Bitcoin in the coming weeks and months. The altcoin’s recent price action indicates rising demand and momentum, particularly from institutional investors and regulatory developments that enhance XRP’s utility.

Even Higher Targets: XRP $1,000 vs. Bitcoin $19 Million

Taking his projection further, the analyst suggested that XRP could reach $1,000 before Bitcoin approaches $19 million, the high-end figure referenced by Saylor. While Bitcoin would need a 20,635% increase from current levels to hit $19 million, XRP would require a 45,300% rise to reach $1,000—equivalent to a $60 trillion market cap.

Despite the massive numbers, the analyst views XRP’s path as more feasible due to accelerating adoption, utility in cross-border payments, and institutional support, making it a “shorter-timeline altcoin” compared with Bitcoin’s multi-decade ambitions.
