Rolex Rings Ltd reported its fourth-quarter results on May 16, showing a net loss for the period despite growth in revenue and operating performance.
The company posted a net loss of ₹0.15 crore in Q4, compared to a profit of ₹54.64 crore in the same quarter last year. The loss was attributed mainly to a ₹49.2 crore exceptional RoR charge.
Despite the bottom-line impact, operational performance remained strong. Revenue increased by 8% year-on-year to ₹305.69 crore, up from ₹283.89 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
EBITDA also rose 8% to ₹56.23 crore from ₹52.22 crore, while EBITDA margins remained stable at 18.4%, unchanged from the previous year, indicating consistent operational efficiency.
The company’s board also approved a share buyback of up to 1 crore shares at a price of ₹180 per share, signaling management confidence in the company’s long-term valuation and financial position.
On the stock market, Rolex Rings Ltd closed 0.3% lower at ₹149 in the previous trading session. However, the stock has still gained about 9.6% over the past month, reflecting relatively strong short-term investor sentiment despite the quarterly loss.
