Shares of RoboStrategy jumped 21% on Friday to $32.85 after the robotics-focused investment company announced a committed equity facility worth up to $2 billion with Roth Principal Investments.
The agreement allows RoboStrategy to sell shares to Roth Principal over time, giving the company additional flexibility to raise capital as it expands investments across the robotics sector.
Earlier this week, RoboStrategy filed a resale registration statement covering 14.1 million shares tied to the facility. Management said the funding arrangement is designed to strengthen the company’s long-term capital strategy and support further investments in leading robotics businesses.
The rally comes shortly after RoboStrategy began trading on the Nasdaq on Monday, marking its public market debut.
Investors appeared to welcome the added liquidity and growth potential, with the stock extending gains as interest in robotics and automation-related companies continues to grow alongside broader AI-driven investment themes.
