Batting first, Sri Lanka posted 184/5, powered by Kamil Mishara’s 76 off 48 balls and Kusal Mendis’ quickfire 40 off 23 deliveries. Despite losing Pathum Nissanka early, the duo put together a crucial 66-run partnership to stabilize the innings. Janith Liyanage and Dasun Shanaka added valuable contributions to push the total past 180.

Chasing 185, Pakistan got off to a promising start, but Dushmantha Chameera’s four-wicket haul (4/20) triggered a collapse. Chameera removed Babar Azam, Sahibzada Farhan, and Fakhar Zaman at key moments. Salman Agha’s 63 and Usman Khan’s 33 kept Pakistan in contention, but tight death-over bowling from Chameera, including a superb final over defending 9 runs, sealed the win for Sri Lanka.
