Fuel retailer Shell has agreed to purchase 100,000 barrels of gasoline from Indonesia’s state energy company Pertamina, following fuel shortages caused by government import quotas.
Other deals:
- PT Vivo Energi Indonesia (Vitol affiliate) will also buy 100,000 barrels.
- BP-AKR purchased 100,000 barrels in late October.
This move aims to stabilize fuel supply for private retailers in Indonesia.
