Shangrila Development Bank Dividend Entitlement Closes; AGM to Endorse 10.36% Payout

Kathmandu, Mangsir 27. Today marks the final day for shareholders to be eligible for the dividend declared by Shangrila Development Bank Limited (SADBL). The bank has also announced its 21st Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for 7th Poush, 2082.

The AGM will be held at Amritbhog Caters in Kalikasthan, Kathmandu, beginning at 10:30 AM. A primary agenda is to seek shareholder endorsement for the proposed dividend.

Dividend Details:
The 374th board meeting, held on Kartik 28, proposed a total dividend of 10.3583% worth Rs. 36.83 crores for FY 2081/82. The payout, based on a paid-up capital of Rs. 3.55 Arba, comprises:

  • A 5% bonus share (worth approx. Rs. 17.78 crores)
  • A 5.3583% cash dividend for tax purposes (worth Rs. 19.05 crores)

Eligibility and Book Closure:
The book closure period for shareholder eligibility runs from Mangsir 23 to Poush 7, 2082. Shareholders registered in the company's records within this period are entitled to receive the proposed dividend and are eligible to attend and vote at the AGM.

The AGM's approval is the final step required for the distribution of this combined bonus and cash dividend, which underscores the bank's performance and commitment to shareholder returns.
