William Lonergan Hill, co-founder and Chief Technology Officer of Samourai Wallet, was sentenced to four years in federal prison for operating a crypto mixing service that prosecutors said facilitated the laundering of millions in illicit funds. The sentencing took place on Wednesday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
