NEPAL LOST BY 4 WICKETS AGANIST USA

Nepal suffered a 4-wicket defeat against the USA in the ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 match held on Saturday. At the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai, the USA successfully chased Nepal’s target of 272 runs in 49 overs, losing six wickets.

Batting first after losing the toss, Nepal were bowled out for 271 in 49.5 overs. Dipendra Singh Airee top-scored with 75 runs, while Karan KC and Kushal Bhurtel contributed 49 and 47 runs respectively.
For the USA, Sai Teja Mukkamalla and Milind Kumar scored half-centuries to guide their team to victory. Sandeep Lamichhane took 3 wickets, while Nandan Yadav, Karan KC, and Gulshan Jha claimed one wicket each.

With this win, the USA sits at the top of the League 2 table with 34 points from 23 matches, while Nepal remains in 7th place with 12 points from 19 games.
