Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M) has announced the name of its upcoming all-electric SUV: the XEV 9S. This 7-seater model will be built on the company’s INGLO platform, designed specifically for electric vehicles, marking a departure from adaptations of internal combustion platforms.
The company highlighted that the skateboard-style INGLO architecture allows a flat floor, offering more cabin space and flexible seating arrangements, including sliding second-row seats. A low centre of gravity is expected to enhance ride comfort and stability.
Mahindra will present the XEV 9S in full at its ‘Scream Electric’ event in Bengaluru on November 27, 2025, commemorating one year of its all-electric lineup under the INGLO brand.
