Madhya Bhotekoshi Jalavidyut Company Limited (MBJC), in coordination with the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA), has officially set the Commercial Operation Date (COD) of its hydropower project to Ashwin 20, 2082, at 12:00 PM.

The Coordination Committee confirmed this decision on Ashwin 29, 2082, and formal communications from NEA’s Electricity Trade Department on Kartik 19, 2082, recognized the COD as starting from Kartik 20, 2082, at 3:15 PM.

This announcement signifies the formal commencement of commercial electricity production from the project, marking a key milestone in Nepal’s hydropower development.
