Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited has been honored with the “South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) Certificate of Merit Award 2024.” The bank received the recognition under the financial services category for its high-quality financial reporting, transparency, accountability, and strong governance practices.

SAFA presents this award on the basis of annual reports published for the fiscal year 2023/24, evaluating institutions for their financial clarity and presentation standards. The bank’s annual report, prepared for its 18th Annual General Meeting, was praised for effectively presenting financial information to shareholders and stakeholders.

The award was handed over to the bank during a ceremony held in Islamabad, Pakistan. Notably, the bank had also won a SAFA Award last year, continuing its streak of excellence.

SAFA is a network partner of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC) and includes chartered accountant bodies from 11 South Asian countries, including Nepal, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives, and Afghanistan. Every year, SAFA evaluates financial reports from across the region and presents awards in various categories.

Additionally, the bank’s financial report recently received the “Gold Award” in the financial services category at the “National Best Presented Reports Award 2024,” organized by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN).
