Kathmandu, Nov. 17, 2025 — Hathway Investment Nepal Limited (HATHY) has released its unaudited financial results for the first quarter of the current fiscal year, showing a significant drop in net profit compared to the same period last year.
For the first quarter, the company recorded a net profit of NPR 4.42 million, representing an 87.36% decline from NPR 34.9 million earned during the same period of the previous fiscal year. The decline in net profit mirrors a drop in operating income, which fell sharply during the review period.
The company’s operating income decreased by 84.31%, while total income fell by 81.97%. Meanwhile, total expenses declined by 66.17% over the same period.
Earnings per share (EPS) also saw a steep decline, falling to NPR 0.56, down from NPR 4.88 in the same period last year. As of the end of Ashwin, the company’s net worth per share stood at NPR 66.64, with a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 1,648.88 times.
Hathway Investment Nepal has a paid-up capital of NPR 1.58 billion, with reserves totaling NPR 527.7 million.
