Gold Prices Fall Sharply by Rs. 6,900 Per Tola in Nepali Market

Significant Drop in Fine Gold
The fine gold market witnessed a major decline, with prices falling by Rs. 6,900 per tola in a single day. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is now priced at Rs. 242,800 per tola, compared to Rs. 249,700 per tola recorded earlier.

Tejabi Gold Also Drops
Tejabi gold has also experienced a sharp decrease. It is currently trading at Rs. 242,100 per tola, down by Rs. 6,900 from the previous day’s price of Rs. 249,000 per tola.

Recent Peak Levels
This decline comes shortly after the record high on October 17, 2025, when fine gold reached an all-time peak of Rs. 258,000 per tola in the Nepali market.

Silver Prices Decline as Well
Silver prices have also fallen. The price of silver dropped by Rs. 150 per tola, bringing it down to Rs. 3,135 per tola, compared to Rs. 3,285 per tola the previous day.

The sharp drop in precious metal prices marks one of the largest single-day declines in recent months.
