Gold and Silver Prices Surge in Nepalese Market

Gold Price Increase:
Today, Tuesday, the price of gold witnessed a sharp rise in the Nepalese market. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, the price of gold increased by NRs 4,900 per tola.

Yesterday, Monday, the price of pure gold (Haapawal) was NRs 241,500 per tola, while today it has risen to NRs 246,400 per tola.

Silver Price Increase:
Similarly, silver prices also increased. Today, silver went up by NRs 105 per tola, reaching NRs 3,170 per tola, compared to yesterday’s NRs 3,065 per tola.

Market Insights:
This significant increase in both gold and silver prices comes after a period of relative stability in recent days. Traders have noted that the rise is largely due to increasing international gold prices, which have had a direct impact on the Nepalese market.
