Codere Online has appointed Marcus Arildsson as its new chief financial officer, the online gaming operator announced on Monday.

Arildsson most recently served as CFO of Millenium Hospitality Real Estate, a Spain-based real estate investment trust. His appointment comes as Codere continues expanding its digital gaming operations across Europe and Latin America.

The company previously disclosed in September that longtime CFO Oscar Iglesias would be stepping down for personal reasons. Codere said Iglesias will rejoin the company’s board once the transition to his successor is complete.
