The Council of Ministers has appointed Additional Inspector General (AIG) Dan Bahadur Karki as the Inspector General of Police (IGP). The decision was taken at the cabinet meeting held on Monday, and Karki’s appointment will be effective from Kartik 27, 2082.

- Approval of the Second Amendment Rules of the National Identity Card and Registration, 2082.
- Provision of 15 personnel (4 from administration and 11 from Nepal Police) to the inquiry commission regarding incidents of Bhadra 23–24.
- Approval for a Nepalese delegation, led by Armed Police Force Chief Raju Aryal, to participate in the 9th Nepal–India Coordination Meeting in New Delhi from Kartik 26–28.
- Approval of the Third Amendment Rules of Land Use, 2082.
- Granting approval to host the 10th National Games in Karnali Province from Falgun 1–7, 2082.
- Recommendation to remove Sumitra Bhandari as the Governor of Madhesh Province and appoint Surendra Lal Karn in her place.
