Bangladesh have named a 15-man squad for the first two T20Is against Ireland, featuring uncapped wicket-keeper batter Mahidul Islam Ankon and a recall for all-rounder Mohammad Saifuddin. The side will be led by Litton Das.
Ankon, 26, made his Test debut against South Africa in 2024 but has not played in Tests since. He recently debuted in ODIs against the West Indies, scoring 46, 17, and 6 across three matches. Saifuddin returns to the squad after missing the series against West Indies when the regular skipper returned.
Notable exclusions include Taskin Ahmed and Shamim Hossain.
