Additional Shares Worth NPR 18.2 Billion Listed in First Three Months of Current Fiscal Year

In the first three months of the current fiscal year, a total of NPR 18.2 billion worth of additional shares have been listed in Nepal through ordinary shares, rights shares, bonus shares, and follow-on public offerings (FPOs), according to Nepal Rastra Bank data.

Breakdown of Listed Shares

  • Ordinary shares: NPR 12.78 billion
  • Rights shares: NPR 2.48 billion
  • Bonus shares: NPR 1.83 billion
  • FPOs: NPR 0.925 billion

Securities Issuance Approvals
During the same period, the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) approved the issuance of securities totaling NPR 10.95 billion for public offerings:

  • Mutual funds: NPR 6.18 billion
  • Rights shares: NPR 3.78 billion
  • Ordinary shares: NPR 0.9947 billion

These developments indicate continued activity in Nepal’s capital market, with both listings and approvals reflecting investor interest and corporate fundraising through the stock market.
