Launches “Warmth with Care” campaign to support flood-affected citizens in Ilam
Kathmandu, Baluwatar — Shangrila Development Bank Limited (SADBL) celebrated its 21st anniversary at its central office in Baluwatar, reaffirming its commitment to customer-centric, modern banking services and sustainable community engagement.
The anniversary event was graced by Chairman Ujwal Satyal and Chief Executive Officer Suyog Shrestha, along with other senior officials and staff members. In their remarks, they expressed heartfelt gratitude to the bank’s stakeholders, customers, and employees for their continued trust and partnership over the years. They emphasized SADBL’s dedication to delivering smart, innovative, and responsible banking solutions aligned with the evolving needs of customers.
Community Support: “Warmth with Care” Campaign
As part of the celebration, SADBL launched a new corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative titled “Warmth with Care”, in collaboration with Lead for Nepal. The campaign aims to collect and distribute warm clothes through 10 regional clusters for citizens in Ilam who were recently affected by floods.
The initiative reflects SADBL’s long-standing focus on social welfare and its role in supporting communities during challenging times.
Blood Donation and Employee Recognition
The anniversary also featured a blood donation program that saw participation from 32 volunteers, including bank employees and community members.
In recognition of staff dedication and loyalty, the bank honored 20 employees who have completed 5, 10, and 15 years of service, acknowledging their contributions to the institution’s growth and success.
