Dell Rally Extends as AI Server Boom Lifts Hardware Stocks

Dell Technologies shares continued their upward momentum on Tuesday, pushing the PC and server maker toward its longest winning streak in more than eight years as enthusiasm around artificial intelligence infrastructure continues to drive the hardware sector.

Shares of Dell Technologies rose about 2.7% in premarket trading, extending a remarkable run that has seen the stock surge nearly 98% over eight consecutive sessions. If gains hold through the close, it would mark the company’s longest daily winning streak since March 2018.

The rally has been fueled by strong earnings and growing investor confidence that demand for AI-optimized servers and enterprise hardware is accelerating. Dell’s latest performance has also been supported by renewed interest in high-end PCs designed to compete in the next generation of AI-enabled computing.

Sentiment across the broader AI hardware space received another boost after Hewlett Packard Enterprise reported stronger-than-expected fiscal second-quarter results and raised its full-year guidance. The company highlighted robust demand in cloud and AI infrastructure, reporting $7.71 billion in cloud and AI revenue—well above analyst expectations.

Shares of HPE surged in response, reinforcing the view that AI-driven infrastructure spending is broad-based and not limited to a single vendor. Meanwhile, fellow server and hardware supplier Super Micro Computer also advanced, extending its recent strong performance as investors continued to rotate into AI-related infrastructure plays.

The latest wave of gains underscores how the artificial intelligence investment cycle is increasingly benefiting not only software and chipmakers but also the less visible backbone of the ecosystem—data centers, servers, and enterprise hardware providers.
