Garima Bikas Bank Limited has announced that the book closure date for its upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) and dividend distribution will be Kartik 18. The decision was made during the bank’s 335th Board of Directors meeting held on Kartik 2.

According to the notice, only shareholders whose names are registered in the company’s books by Kartik 17 will be eligible to receive dividends. For the fiscal year 2080/81, the bank has proposed a total dividend of 10.53 percent, consisting of 6 percent bonus shares and 4.53 percent cash dividends (including tax).

The proposed dividends will be approved during the AGM, which is scheduled to take place on Kartik 27 in Pokhara. Investors will be able to receive the declared dividends after they are endorsed by the meeting along with other agenda items.
