The Rastriya Swatantra Party and Bibeksheel Sajha Party have officially merged, with the announcement made on Sunday afternoon at the National Assembly Hall.

The merger comes ahead of the upcoming elections scheduled for Falgun 21, as both parties aim to contest together as a united new political force.

The unification between Bibeksheel Sajha, led by Samiksha Baskota, and Rastriya Swatantra Party, led by Ravi Lamichhane, is being seen as a significant development in strengthening alternative political power in the country.
