Today, Mangsir 15 (Monday), is the final day for investors to secure dividend rights of Standard Chartered Bank (SCB). The bank will close its book tomorrow, Mangsir 16, for the purpose of its upcoming annual general meeting (AGM) and dividend distribution.

Accordingly, shareholders whose transactions are completed in NEPSE by the end of today will be eligible to attend the bank’s AGM and receive the dividend announced by SCB.

The bank has scheduled its 39th Annual General Meeting for Mangsir 29 (Monday) at the Army Officers Club, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu, starting at 10 AM.

The AGM will endorse the proposal to distribute 19% cash dividend (including tax) based on the current paid-up capital. In addition, the meeting will approve proposals such as granting authority to the board to amend the Memorandum and Articles of Association, appointing an auditor, and other related agenda items.
