To revitalize Nepal’s slowing construction sector and reactivate the market, the ‘Home Construction Fest 2082’ is set to take place in Kathmandu. Organized by the Home Construction Foundation, the event will be held at Bhrikutimandap from Poush 12 to 15.
Although construction and commercial activities are gradually expanding in Nepal, many brands still face challenges in effective product presentation, building lasting market branding, and establishing direct customer relationships. According to the Foundation, this fest aims to address these challenges and offer a significant opportunity for the industry.
Participating businesses will be able to reach their target customers more effectively through direct interaction, expert guidance, and branding consultations. The event is expected to attract over 40,000 visitors, with economic transactions estimated to exceed Rs. 2 billion within the four-day period.
Major corporate houses in the construction sector—such as Asian Paints, Plumber Pipes, and Nepovit Tiles—will participate, making the fest a key platform for expanding both B2B and B2C connections. To promote innovation, attractions like Dome House technology, world-record bricks, and other unique and modern displays will also be showcased.
As a major highlight, the Foundation has prepared the world’s largest brick, which it plans to register in the Guinness Book of World Records. Additionally, an “Upside-Down House”—a unique house built in an inverted structure—will be exhibited.
Another feature of the event is the presentation of Dome House technology, which enables the construction of houses, hotels, or resorts within a single day. Visitors will also have access to free consultations from engineers, architects, and construction experts regarding design, quality, cost, and modern building technologies.
The Foundation aims to make the fest creative, engaging, and innovation-driven, bringing together the construction industry, manufacturers, and consumers on a single platform while helping to boost overall activity in the construction market.
