Portuguese consumer prices rose 2.2% year-on-year in November, slightly down from a 2.3% increase in October, according to preliminary data from the National Statistics Institute (INE).
Core inflation, which excludes volatile food and energy prices and provides a clearer picture of underlying trends, came in at 1.9% year-on-year, down from 2.1% in October.
On a monthly basis, overall consumer prices fell 0.3% in November, following a 0.0% change in October.
