Tomato prices have increased in local markets, according to data from the Kalimati Fruit and Vegetable Market Development Committee on Friday.

At Kalimati Market, the wholesale price of large Indian tomatoes rose by an average of Rs 20 per kilogram.

On Thursday, large Indian tomatoes were sold at Rs 95 per kilogram, but today the price has increased to Rs 115 per kilogram.

Similarly, the local tomatoes, which were sold at Rs 81 per kilogram on Thursday, are now being sold at Rs 85 per kilogram.

Meanwhile, the small tunnel-grown tomatoes are being sold at Rs 120 per kilogram today.
