Sagarmatha Jalabidhyut Company Limited (SMJC) has announced that electricity generation at its 9.6 MW Super Madi A Hydropower Project has officially resumed from Mangsir 03, 2082. The project had remained non-operational since Ashwin 18, 2082, after severe flooding caused extensive damage to key infrastructure, including the powerhouse and switchyard. The company confirmed that reconstruction, repairs, and thorough testing of the damaged electrical equipment have now been fully completed, enabling the project to restore its production capacity and resume power generation.
