The highly anticipated new-generation Kia Seltos, considered one of the most popular upcoming SUVs, is set for an official launch by the second week of December 2025.

According to the manufacturer, the SUV comes with significant upgrades both inside and outside. It features a stronger engine setup, including a 1.5-liter diesel variant paired with a 6-speed manual, an automatic transmission, and a new 7-speed automatic gearbox. The updated Seltos will also include vertical LED DRLs, a redesigned front grille, and an upgraded, premium interior.

Media reports suggest that the new Kia Seltos will be unveiled on December 10 in South Korea during a special event. After the launch, the SUV will be made available for sale in several markets, including India.

Safety and feature upgrades include six airbags, electronic stability control, an electronic parking brake, and a 360-degree camera system.

The expected starting price of the new-generation Seltos in India is INR 11.3 lakh, with top variants going up to INR 22 lakh. Once launched, the SUV will compete with models such as the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Maruti Suzuki Vitara, Hyundai Creta, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and Honda Elevate.
