Worldlink Communications Launches WiFi 6 “6G Internet” Service in Nepal

Kathmandu, NepalWorldlink Communications, a pioneer internet service provider in Nepal, has officially launched its WiFi 6 service, branded as 6G internet, promising up to 40% higher coverage and 4x faster speeds compared to previous WiFi standards.

The launch event was held at the Marriott Hotel, Kathmandu, attended by hundreds of guests. Dileep Agrawal, Chairman and Managing Director of Worldlink Communications Limited, highlighted the company’s focus on innovation and enhancing customer satisfaction through cutting-edge technology.

Nokia Enterprise-Grade WiFi 6 Router

Worldlink has partnered with Nokia, deploying the G-1426G-A router for its WiFi 6 service. The router offers speeds of up to 1.5Gbps and covers up to 3,000 square feet, supporting 4x Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports for high-bandwidth needs.

Enhanced Coverage and Performance

The new 6G service delivers 40% more coverage than WiFi 5, ensuring stronger signal reach throughout homes and offices. With lower latency, users can enjoy smoother online gaming, streaming, and video conferencing, reducing lag and connectivity issues.

Availability and Upgrade

Worldlink’s 6G service is available to new and existing customers, who can upgrade by visiting nearby Worldlink offices. Users must have WiFi 6-compatible devices, such as smartphones, laptops, or tablets, to fully benefit from the improved performance.
