Honda Recalls Over 400,000 U.S. Vehicles Due to Wheel Detachment Risk
  • Recall Details: Honda Motor (7267) is recalling 406,290 vehicles in the U.S. due to a manufacturing defect that may cause aluminium alloy wheels to detach.
  • Affected Models: Certain 2016–2021 Honda Civic vehicles with 18-inch aluminum alloy wheels sold as accessories.
  • Remedial Action: Dealers will inspect wheels and replace hubs and wheels if needed, free of charge, according to the U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
