Gold Prices Surge by Rs. 600 Per Tola, Silver Also Up

Kathmandu — The price of gold in the domestic market surged by Rs. 600 per tola today, marking a notable rise in the precious metal’s value. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association (FENEGOSIDA), fine gold is now being traded at Rs. 2,37,800 per tola, up from Rs. 2,37,200 per tola on the previous trading day.

Similarly, the price of Tejabi gold climbed to Rs. 2,37,100 per tola, compared to Rs. 2,36,500 per tola the day before.

In tandem with gold, silver prices also witnessed a rise of Rs. 20 per tola, reaching Rs. 3,010 per tola from Rs. 2,990 per tola on Wednesday.

The continued upward trend in both gold and silver prices reflects heightened demand in the domestic market and international price movements influenced by global economic uncertainty and investor sentiment.
