Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba Flies to Singapore for Medical Treatment

Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba traveled to Singapore last night for further medical treatment, accompanied by his wife Arju Rana. Deuba was injured during a protester attack on Bhadra 24 amid the Janajati movement demonstrations.

The couple departed on Monday night via Singapore Airlines. Following the incident at their residence in Budhanilkantha, Deuba and his wife received treatment for nearly a month at the Chhauni-based military hospital.

During the treatment, it was reported by Congress leaders that Deuba received 12 stitches on his neck.
