Nepal SBI Bank Calls 32nd AGM to Endorse 9% Dividend for FY 2081/82

Kathmandu, Mangsir 26. Nepal SBI Bank Limited (SBI) has announced its 32nd Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled for 18th Poush, 2082, at 11:00 AM. The meeting will be held at the Tribhuvan Army Officers' Club in Bhadrakali, Kathmandu.

A key agenda for the assembly is to seek shareholder approval for a 9% dividend for the fiscal year 2081/82. This proposal, initially decided by the bank's 537th Board of Directors meeting on Mangsir 8, is based on the paid-up capital of Rs. 10.89 Arba. The dividend comprises a 4% bonus share and a 5% cash dividend (including tax).

In addition to the dividend endorsement, other significant agenda items include:

  • Endorsement of the auditor's report along with the Profit & Loss statements, financial reports, and cash flow reports for the last fiscal year.
  • Appointment of an auditor for the upcoming fiscal year 2082/83.
  • Election of one director representing the public shareholding group.

The book closure date is set for Poush 4, 2082. Shareholders registered in the company's records by the end of this date will be eligible to receive the proposed dividend and are entitled to attend and vote at the upcoming AGM.

The dividend, upon AGM endorsement, will mark another year of return to the bank's investors, reflecting its financial performance for the year.
